We all have those moments when we are scrolling through Instagram and a photo pops up that stops us in our tracks.  We click on their feed to see more and each photo we see just seems to be more beautiful that the one before. One of those accounts for me is @sugarbdesigns.  From the moment I saw the beautiful, classic, Southern-influenced watercolor paintings paired with calligraphy, I was in love.

At that time, I was just beginning my study of calligraphy and had only recently brushed the dust off my watercolor brushes.  I never dreamed that I might someday get the chance to work with one of my IG crush accounts. Fast forward a couple of years (and hours of calligraphy practice and watercolor painting later) and an email lands in my inbox from Carrie Beth of THE Sugar B. Designs. She has seen my Instagram feed, loves my work (!!) and would like to refer clients interested in watercolor home portraits my way as she no longer does those. “Yes, please” I said without hesitation. And, by the way, would I like to schedule a time to talk about being part of the Sugar B. Design team and designing a line of exclusive Lime & Lily Christmas Card Designs for the 2018 holiday collection?  Yes and yes!!

The 2018 Christmas Collection has something for everyone.  There are Herend inspired snowmen, beautiful wreaths, lots of fancy bows, beach themed cards and five of my original designs.  Eek…still pinching myself about that. Head over to to http://www.sugarbdesigns.com to check out the full line.  I hope you love them all as much as I do.  Now I just need to decide which one I will be sending out this year…
