Printing Methods
Digital
Digital prints artwork smoothly on the paper, with no raised or indented impression. If you run your fingers over it, you’ll only feel the slight texture of the paper itself. Digital printing is also known as flat printing.  This print process is good for multi-color artwork such as watercolors.
Letterpress
A plate is made and the design is debossed into the paper creating an indented image. Rollers dispense ink onto the raised artwork on the plate and the plate is then pressed into the paper. Letterpress ink is somewhat translucent and is affected by the color of the stock on which it is used.
Foil Stamping
Foil stamping is when a heated metal plate is pressed against foil film to transfer the design to the paper. The design is debossed into the paper similar to letterpress, but foil is applied instead of ink. Foil is most commonly used when a reflective, metallic finish is desired.
Paper Choices
White Eggshell
Our standard stock for digital printing is a single-ply eggshell paper. Eggshell paper features a beautiful, subtle textured finish. Single-ply is a substantial 120# cardstock. We also offer a 240# double-ply paper, twice the thickness of single-ply.
Paper Thickness
Single-ply paper is a thinner, more economical option, while double-ply is thicker with a more luxurious feel. Double-ply is often preferred for formal, elegant weddings, adding a sense of weight and quality to the invitation. Single-ply, on the other hand, is suitable for more casual styles and can be more budget-friendly.
100% Cotton
Our luxury stock for letterpress & foil printing is single-ply, 100% cotton paper. Cotton is soft to the touch and has a beautiful texture. Single-ply is an elegant 118# paper. We also offer a 236# double-ply cotton, twice the thickness of single-ply.

Our Process
Select the invitation suite that captures the style and beauty of your wedding in the Semi-Custom Shop.
Make your selected suite your own by choosing your paper, print method, and ink color. Upload your wording and all the other important details right on the site.
Further personalize your suite by adding silk ribbon, wax seals, guest addressing and more. Visit our Embellishment Shop to make your selections.
Place your order. I will reach out to confirm that I have received your order in 24-48 hours. In 7-10 days, you will receive a digital proof of your invitation suite.

Frequently Asked Questions

Collection orders take between 3-6 weeks depending on the printing method and embellishments chosen. Your invitations should be mailed 8-10 weeks prior to your wedding date. We recommend ordering as early as possible to ensure that your wedding invitations in plenty of time. Â
Please remember that ordering custom artwork or a custom monogram adds 3-4 weeks to your order.
Sometimes.  You may request that your order be rushed. Please email me at angie@limeandlilydesign as soon as possible with your desired completion date. If your requested date is possible, an additional fee will be added to your order to accommodate the rush order.
When you are calculating how many invitation suites to order, remember to count households and not individuals. Additional reprints are costly after your order has been approved. It is best to order 20% extra to account for last minute additions and keepsakes. Once your order is placed, we cannot reduce the quantity.
No, assembly is not included with your purchase but can be added at an additional cost.
Please email right away and let us know. If your invitations have already been sent to press, a change order fee, the cost of the extra invitations, and extra lead time will be added to your order. Â
The minimum amount is 50 and the maxiumum amount you can order online is 300. We can accommodate larger orders. Please contact us for a quote.
Most couples invest between $750-$2500 for their invitations.
There are two buil-in revisions to revise text, color palette, and add-ons.
