Design

Our designs are thoughtfully crafted, and all design elements are intentionally selected to best suit the overall look of the design. Because of this, we cannot offer major changes on our Semi-custom designs beyonod the personalization options stated on the product page. If you would like a bespoke design, please visit our custom design page or send us an email.

Proofs

Semi-custom invitations include one complimentary round of minor revisions. Additonal revision rounds can be purchased for $75.00 each.

When you receive a proof, it is your responsibility to review it for any errors, such as spelling, date, or punctuation.  Once your item has been approved and is sent to print, we cannot make any further changes. If your item has been sent to print with an error that you failed to correct during the proofing process, you will be responsible for any reprinting costs.

Variances

The appearance of hand-addressed envelopes will vary from that of printed addresses.  The appearance of each hand-written address will change depending on letter and word count. Please have this expectation when ordering handwritten calligraphy. Each envelope is a single work of art and should be appreciated as such.

Letterpress printing and inking are done by hand using an antique printing press machine so slight variations in color and positioning may occur. 

Adress List

Addresses will be written or printed exactly as they appear on your address list. Lime & Lily will not make etiquette or spelling corrections. You may choose to have Lime & Lily prepare the address list for calligraphy or printing for a $125 fee.

Color Accuracy

All digital screens are calibrated differently and the colors showcased in digital mockups or proofs may vary slightly.

USPS Direct Mailing Disclosure

Lime & Lily cannot be held responsible for any mailed items that are damaged by USPS as they are an independent third party.  Lime & Lily also cannot be held responsible for any invitations that are marked “return to sender” by USPS.

The USPS reads envelopes electronically.  If handwritten calligraphy is used for the envelopes, some addresses or styles will be more or less difficult to read when sorted through USPS machines.  Any address that cannot be read by the machine will likely be hand-inspected.  If the address still cannot be delivered, it will be returned to the return address on the mailed stationery. Lime & Lily is not responsible for resending, reprinting or reimbursing for invitations or addresses that do not make it to their intended address.  If any pieces need to be re-mailed, you have the option of paying Lime & Lily to purchase, print and re-address the additional pieces.  As with any mass mailing, it is expected that 1-3% of the mailed pieced may be marked undeliverable. Please check your address list carefully to minimize that possibility.  Client may wish to order extra pieces for this reason.  Client understands that the amount of time it takes USPS to deliver a piece(s) of mail is out of Lime & Lily’s control.

Privacy

Your personal information that you provide will only be used to communicate with you and to fulfill your order. We will not sell nor trade your information to any third party.

Production Times

Once your order has been placed, you will receive a digital proof within 10 business days.  If your order includes a custom monogram or artwork, proofing time will take up to an additional 4-6 weeks.  If you fail to include any required information on your order (such as event date, location, etc.) we cannot proceed with your order until such information has been provided to us.  We may follow up with you regarding this information, but it is ultimately your sole responsibility to provide us with complete information. All production timelines which may have been provided to you cannot be guaranteed until and unless you provide us with all necessary details and information.  If you choose to include a photograph on your item (such as on the back of your save the date) you are responsible for providing it to us in a timely manner and in a high-resolution image format. Failure to do so may incur further delays in the proofing and/or production timelines. We are not responsible for any delays that may occur in the design and production of your order due to your failure to provide us with any and all necessary information.

Shipping

Shipping costs are included in your total.  All physical orders are shipped via UPS Ground, which may take between 3-7 business days depending on your location.  Once an order is shipped, Lime & Lily can no longer be responsible for its handling. A tracking number will automatically be assigned to the shipment, but Lime & Lily will have no access to information regarding progress of the shipment beyond the tracking information provided by UPS.   Lime & Lily is not responsible for any loss(es), delay(s), or damage(s) incurred during shipment.

Returns and Exchanges

Due to the personalized nature of our products being made to your specifications, Lime & Lily cannot offer any returns or exchanges. This includes wedding paper and embellishments.

In the case that a printing error was made on our part, Lime & Lily will reprint the item(s) for no additional cost. If there is an error in the proof provided to you and you approve the incorrect design and/or wording, you will be responsible for the cost of reprinting.

Cancellations and Refunds

You may cancel your order within 24 hours of the order being placed to receive a full refund. Once the 24-hour window has passed, your order can no longer be canceled.

Pricing

Any and all pricing listed on this website represents the full retail price in United States dollars and is subject to change without further notice.

Lime & Lily retains all rights, title, and interest, including all copyrights, patent rights, and trade secret rights in Work Product pursuant to federal copyright law (Chapter 17, Section 201-02, of the United States Code.).
